OK, I'm still polishing some things, so expect plenty of dust, but the forums are now up. Shortly, I'll add a Private Message system, as well.

On a technical note, this part of the system was very trying.... I had implemented the basic commenting system for the articles, but the forum management got pretty involved in order to bring similar features to other CMS systems like PHPNuke forums I've seen. Remember: I'm pretty much flying solo on this code, and it's all new. DNN turned out to be a dead end, and nothing else I've seen offered me the flexibility I wanted.

This was, however, a great learning experience; I'm now comfortable with SQL Stored Procedure programming, having to do some rather extensive functions to make things work nicely, and I've also learned quite a bit about asp.net programming. In reality, I should have been doing this years ago. Eventually, I'll also get comfortable with emitting JavaScript code to add some nice features on the browser end.
