Welcome to 2009. Will we make it through this year? Who knows... not to be a downer, but there has been a swarm of earthquakes around the Yellowstone "megacaldera"  -a Super Volcano that could take out 2/3s of the US if it erupts, and the swarm of tremors are an indication, along with the swelling of the caldera (over a meter rise in the past year), that it may be about to erupt.

Then again, this could all just be the media playing Chicken Little and screaming that the sky is falling.
